hasn't already been said? Jimmy's is a Peoria
landmark, first opening their doors in 1982. In
the time preceding the Illinois Smoking Ban,
patrons were welcome to puff stogies inside
while sitting at the bar, enjoying great food and
company, and some outstanding beers. After
the smoking ban went into effect, Jimmy's was
still a haven for cigar enthusiasts, installing
heaters in his large outdoor beer garden,
attracting the heartiest of smokers, even with
below freezing temperatures. Owner Jimmy
Spears has been a long time supporter of the
Summit, and we wouldn't be able to do it with
out his support and generosity. He is a true
brother of the leaf!
